Introduction

SynCold® PAG series are synthetic polyalkylene glycol (PAG) refrigerant lubricants specifically developed for automotive, commercial, and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning compressors. These unique custom blends of PAG and additives offer exceptional resistance to dilution by hydrocarbons and other compressed gases, particularly in flooded screw compressors. Additional benefits include thermal stability, low ash content, high viscosity index, shear stability, and outstanding lubricating properties.

Most automotive and truck A/C systems utilize Japanese or American-made compressors and R134a refrigerant. These compressors require synthetic PAG based lubricants, such as SynCold® PAG 46 or SynCold® PAG 100, due to their excellent compatibility with R134a.

SynCold® PAG 150 is specifically formulated for hydrocarbon gas compressors, including those using propane (R290) and propylene (R1270). This lubricant is designed for use in screw compressors and offers unique advantages in resisting hydrocarbon and compressed gas dilution.
